According to MLSPIN, the marketplace for Boston residential properties here’s what happened in May 2022 versus April 2022:
The Number of SOLD listings decreased by 38% to 24 properties with a top sale of $5.65 million at 7 & 9 Inge’s Way in Plymouth.
The Average Sales Price increased by 20% to $742000 moving the Average Price Per Square Foot down to $346 per square foot.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply increased by 27% to 0.81 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30 year fixed mortgage rate decreased to 5.42% according to Bank Rate.com.
