According to MLSPIN, the marketplace for Boston residential properties, here’s what happened in May 2023 versus April 2023:
The Number of SOLD listings increased by 23% to 135 properties with a top sale of $13.8 million at 1 Dalton St #5502 in Boston.
The Average Sales Price decreased by 3% to $1.6 million moving the Average Price Per Square Foot down to $1189 per square foot.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply increased by 4% to 5.36 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30 year fixed mortgage rate increased to 6.48% according to Bank Rate.com.
