Welcome to The Griffin Real Estate Market Update

If you’re thinking about buying or selling residential real estate, it’s important to understand the current market trends.

According to MLSPIN, the marketplace for Beacon Hill residential properties, here’s what happened in Q2 2023 versus Q2 2022:

The Number of SOLD listings decreased by 48% to 34 properties with a top sale of $11.9 million at 75 Beacon St #2 in Beacon Hill.

The Average Sales Price decreased by 27% to $1.71 million and the Average Price Per Square Foot decreased by 4% to $1,261 per square foot.

The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply increased by 1% to 3.34 months worth of properties for sale.

The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate increased by 17% to an average rate of 6.84% according to Bank Rate.com
