Most agents do not have a formal education in marketing and are therefore unaware of the term avatar, which refers to the profile of the perfect customer. In real estate it’s easy to choose an avatar by geography and price range, however, it’s even more critical to understand the psychographics of “why” the avatar is taking action and “how motivated” they are to take action. Yet the most important factor in determining avatar, is to truly pursue the ideal customer from the beginning of your career and never be satisfied with a plan B avatar.
