According to MLSPIN, the marketplace for Charlestown residential properties, here’s what happened in Q1 2023 versus Q1 2022:
The Number of SOLD listings decreased by 23% to 36 properties with a top sale of $3 million at 45 Soley St. in Charlestown.
The Average Sales Price decreased by 6% to $1 million moving the Average Price Per Square Foot down to $755 per square foot.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply decreased by 18% to 0.72 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30 year fixed mortgage rate increased to 4.73% according to Bank Rate.com
