According to Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, the marketplace for Cape Cod residential properties, here’s what happened in Q2 2022 versus Q2 2022:
The Number of SOLD listings decreased by 20% to 856 properties with a top sale of $13.75 million at 198 & 227 Bridge Street in Barnstable.
The Average Sales Price increased by 16% to $1.01 million moving the Average Price Per Square Foot up to $499 per square foot.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply increased by 9% to 1.87 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30 year fixed mortgage rate increased to 5.85% according to BankRate.com.
