According to Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, the marketplace for Cape Cod residential properties here’s what happened in April 2022 versus March 2022:
The Number of SOLD listings had no change with to 229 properties with a top sale of $13.75 million at 198 & 227 Bridge Street in Barnstable.
The Average Sales Price increased by 22% to $1.12 million moving the Average Price Per Square Foot up to $542 per square foot.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply increased by 10% to 2.9 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30 year fixed mortgage rate increased to 5.42% according to Bank Rate.com.
