According to Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, the marketplace for Cape Cod residential properties, here’s what happened in Q3 2023 vs Q3 2024:
The Number of SOLD listings increased 14% to 761 properties with a top sale of $12.2 million at 807 Sea View Avenue in Barnstable.
The Average Sales Price increased 5% to $1.1 million and the Average Price Per Square Foot increased by 3% at $544.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply increased 9% to 2.32 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate decreased by 17% to an average rate of 6.24% according to Bank Rate.com.
