According to Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, the marketplace for Cape Cod residential properties, here’s what happened in Q1 2023 vs Q1 2024
The Number of SOLD listings decreased 8% to 494 properties with a top sale of $11.5 million at 61 Fox Island Road in Barnstable.
The Average Sales Price remained the same at $931 thousand and the Average Price Per Square Foot increased 35% to $1,812.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply increased by 17% to 2.31 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate increased by 8% to an average rate of 7.01% according to Bank Rate.com.
