According to MLSPIN, the marketplace for Boston residential properties, here’s what happened in October 2024 vs November 2024:
The Number of SOLD listings decreased by 7% to 98 properties with a top sale of $10.2 million at 222 Commonwealth Avenue #PH in Boston.
The Average Sales Price increased 1% to $1.65 million and the Average Price Per Square Foot increased 1% to $1,239 per square foot.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply decreased by 23% to 4.41 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate increased by 1% to an average rate of 6.94% according to Bank Rate.com.
