According to MLSPIN, the marketplace for Boston residential properties, here’s what happened in Q3 2023 vs Q3 2024:
The Number of SOLD listings decreased by 13% to 386 properties with a top sale of $20.3 million at 150 Seaport Blvd #19C&E in Boston.
The Average Sales Price decreased 15% to $1.64 million and the Average Price Per Square Foot decreased 10% to $1,194 per square foot.
The inventory of properties available for sale as measured in months supply increased by 40% to 6.39 months worth of properties for sale.
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate decreased by 17% to an average rate of 6.24% according to Bank Rate.com
