Meet the Ellis Twins, born sisters, chosen business partners.


Melony and Chelsea Ellis originated from Colorado but were raised in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, in a low
income household. With determination and a drive to climb out of their childhood circumstance,
education became their primary focus. In their senior year of high school, both twins put themselves
through Emergency Medical Technician School at Cape Cod Community College. Both Twins were
State—and National-Registered Emergency Medical Technicians before crossing their high school
graduation stage.


But their drive didn’t stop there.
Melony attended Fitchburg State University and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science to
help her family escape financial instability. During this time, she held three jobs, including working in
private EMS, to help her pay for college.
Chelsea pursued a full-time career in Private EMS, became head of the household, and cared for her two
disabled parents. At age nineteen, Chelsea had accomplished an achievement she didn’t believe possible in her lifetime: she purchased her first home.


Melony returned home, became a physical therapy technician, and worked heavily with the community.
At the same time, Chelsea continued to work in private EMS and pursued courses for acceptance into
Harvard University’s Continuing School of Education. Chelsea sold her first home by age twenty-four, while Melony accompanied her.

Together, the twins learned firsthand how buying or selling a home can significantly change one’s life and the freedom or security it may bring. With the twins’ passion for real estate unlocked, they hit the ground running. Melony and Chelsea became licensed realtors and signed with Griffin Realty Group as Ellis Estates. Now, the Twins’ mission is to open doors for others so they can one day hold the key to home.
