Born and raised in the lush green mountains of Vermont, Heather has always loved the serene country life that the Northeast has to offer. The seeds that sprouted her drive for success can be traced all the way to her grandparents’ antique furniture store where, at 8 years old, she could be found running the counter and negotiating prices for refurbished desks and rocking chairs each weekend she was there.
Soon after graduating Burr and Burton Seminary, Heather flew from the nest and landed in the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts where she fell in love with the area as well as her husband, James. She has held various positions in the customer service industry, and these were the places in which she first got a taste for what it was like working with and helping people. Equipped with spirit and a strong desire to serve people’s needs, she established herself in the local market by starting her own small business.
The name is now known throughout the county for providing excellent home improvement and cleaning services, which Heather and her husband still manage to this day. With roots already planted, they sought out a permanent home in the little town of Lanesborough for themselves and their three children, Aiden, Davyn, and Peighton. Heather and her family found themselves settling down in a perfect little yellow house set back on a hill surrounded by woods and a lovely, supportive community. The experience that she had searching, finding, and buying their home sparked her desire to help others in achieving that same dream. So, after a decade of growing her small business to its maturity and full potential, Heather was allowed the freedom to focus all of her attention on what it was she really wanted to do; she embarked on her new venture as a real estate agent and joined the Griffin Realty Group family.
Heather savors time she gets to spend with her family hiking on numerous local trails and eagerly looks forward to kayaking trips with her partner on nearby Pontoosic and Onota Lake. Sometimes she just wants to get the family together to watch a movie in the living room. She will go through a good book in a matter of days and grow vegetable and spice gardens each season from which the fresh ingredients are incorporated into her cooking, another pastime that Heather is passionate about.
